Product Description

SharpTool 2.0 is an innovative attachment for cordless drills that allows you to sharpen worn or dull multitool blades quickly, precisely, and safely. Thanks to the durable CBN grinding head (Cubic Boron Nitride), this version is even more powerful and efficient, especially when sharpening hardened steel or HSS blades. This way, you can easily extend the lifespan of your multitool blades.

Safety Instructions

General

  • Read this manual carefully before use.
  • Always wear personal protective equipment: Safety glasses, Hearing protection, Work gloves & Dust mask.
  • Work in a well-lit, clean, and ventilated area.
  • Keep children and bystanders away during use.

Specific

  • Check SharpTool 2.0 for damage or wear before each use.
  • Secure the multitool blade firmly in the multitool.
  • Start at the lowest drill speed and increase only if necessary.
  • Apply light pressure while sharpening – let the CBN grinding head do the work.
  • Allow both the blade and the grinding head to cool down completely after use.
  • Maximum 2500 RPM – exceeding this limit may cause damage or injury.

Instructions for Use

Step by step:

  1. Firmly attach SharpTool 2.0 to your cordless drill (hand-tighten like any standard accessory).
  2. Switch on the drill at the lowest speed.
  3. Slowly and evenly move the multitool blade against the rotating CBN grinding head.
  4. Carefully increase speed if needed and sharpen until the desired sharpness is achieved.
  5. Switch off the drill and let everything cool down completely.
  6. Remove the multitool blade and SharpTool 2.0 only after cooling.

Maintenance and Storage

  • Allow the tool to cool down completely before storing.
  • Store SharpTool 2.0 in its original packaging or protective case.
  • Keep out of reach of children and away from moisture or dust.
